The COVID-19 pandemic brought New York to a standstill. The passenger terminals of JFK airport were a ghost town. We have recently emerged into what many consider as our “new normal”. Mr. Thomas Rohrmeier, Lufthansa Cargo’s Northeast Regional Director, will discuss what this “new normal” looks like at Lufthansa Cargo, as well as major changes in the air freight market. As our industry prepares for the approval of a potential vaccine to fight the pandemic, Thomas will discuss Lufthansa Cargo’s strategy for tackling this colossal logistical operation.

Thomas Rohrmeier is an internationally experienced leader in aviation and logistics. He studied supply chain management in Regensburg, Germany, and San Francisco, CA. During his air cargo career, he has lived and worked in Frankfurt, Singapore, Atlanta, Dallas, Amsterdam, and New York, where he is currently the regional director for the US Northeast at Lufthansa Cargo.
He has been in this industry for 17 years in various positions. He is passionate about the role of digital innovation in logistics.
Thomas is married and the father of two daughters and lives in White Plains, NY
