ABOUT OUR SPEAKER:

Steve Langhart serves Southwest Airlines as the Director, Cargo Sales based at their Dallas, Texas Headquarters. In his current role, Steve leads the Cargo Sales and Business development teams ensuring collaboration and consistency are relentlessly delivered. With his entrepreneurial-minded focus and keen perspective; Steve is recognized as
a strategic Southwest Leader optimizing the Cargo brand and building affiliations with internal and external customers.

With 39 years of Airline experience, he’s held a number of Airport Operations, Customer Service and HQ strategic leadership roles in several locations, and identifies opportunities to deliver optimal Customer Experiences. Steve enjoys mentoring and sharing his professional experiences with newly promoted Leaders and Interns, and offers a Servants Heart to charities that include the Ronald McDonald House, Salvation Army and Meals on Wheels.

Married to his bride Karen for 34 years; together they have two children, son Spencer a graduate of Western Michigan University and part of the Airport Operations team at General Mitchell Field in Milwaukee, and daughter Amelia, graduate of Auburn University, and part of the Supply Chain team at Georgia Pacific in Atlanta. During his spare time Steve is an avid golfer, causal bicycle rider, and with Karen, likes drinking Pina Calodas and getting caught in
the rain!

Steve is a graduate of the University of Phoenix with a BA in Marketing, and sits on the Aviation Business Industry Advisory Board at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ.
